Theme: Visual images of the people and their lifestyle

Questions to ask before and during lesson:

1.      Can images be used to make a statement?

2.      What do you think the members of the Kuyui Dokado looked like?

Deliverable from Students:

1.      Written report consisting of a picture and an interpretation

2.      Oral report to class

         

Time Requirements:

1.      10 minutes for explanation

2.      30 minutes for site exploration

3.      10 minutes for preparation

4.      3-5 minutes each for presentation

Format and Instructions: Go to the following site and pick one picture representing the Paiutes and answer the following questions:

1.      What is your picture of? 

2.      What time period is the picture from?

3.      What does your picture represent?
