Name of Camp: Manzanar ---In the Owens Valley of Eastern California Desert

The WRA Agency produced photographs and dialogue for positive public relations.
Most pictures show happy people and new quarters.
The documents are government photographs and quotes about manzanar.

The pictures are presented in a powerpoint presentation prepared by
San Francisco City Museum and combine photos and quotes

The picture we chose was a photograph of a field full of cars.
They demonstrate that the owners of the cars are property owners that were displaced.
This picture combined with another photo of distributor caps and a quote about the caps being removed
to keep the cars from leaving, show that the aim was to keep the residents of the camps in the camps.
